The rehearsal stage center for the Deutsches Theater in Berlin is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of this year. The building has a sculptural appearance and fits into the courtyard of the Deutsches Theater, redefining its space. The staged levels of the roof areas reflect the scale of the neighboring buildings. The first floor accommodates the workshops and stores for the courtyard equipment, and a central goods elevator. The rehearsal stages have been arranged above each other in the high central part. While staff rooms, changing rooms, and offices are located in the western part of the building, the eastern part contains storage areas adjacent to the stages.

The facade has a rendered finish that replicates the elevations of the neighboring buildings. Window surrounds and the plinth cladding consist of manufactured stone elements with a washed surface. Circulation areas in the building are reduced to a minimum owing to its compact layout.
