Study 2008:
TXL+ An energy-plus city
Future use concept of the Berlin Tegel Airport

The association Architekturpreis Berlin e.V. extends an invitation to a debate on the subject of "What does the future hold for Tegel airport?" at the KutscherHaus, Kurfürstendamm, Berlin on 14 August 2012.  Together with other well-known speakers, Stephan Schütz will be discussing the future of Tegel airport.

Background:
Now that Berlin’s Tegel airport is no longer operational, this large site with great potential has reverted to Berlin. Especially attractive features of the airport site are its proximity to the Technical University and Beuth-Hochschule für Technik, as well as its good transport links with City West.
