Looking for innovative and indigenous solutions furthering the cause of transforming the habitats sustainably, the GRIHA Summit (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) has invited gmp founding partner Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Meinhard von Gerkan as key note speaker on the opportunities and challenges of future architecture. On 2nd and 3rd March 2017, about 1000 delegates from science and research, politics, business and the green sector are expected to meet at the India Habitat Center in New Delhi in order to start an international dialogue on the topic “Transforming Habitat”.
GRIHA Council is an independent, non-profit society jointly setup by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Engergy (MNRE), Government of India to promote and administer Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA). The indigenous rating system developed by TERI was adopted by MNRE as the National Rating System for green buildings in India.
