“Architecture creates quality of life” – this is the theme of this years’ 22nd edition of the “Tag der Architektur”. Between interior and exterior, urban structures and public spaces, architects and their clients present their built works as living spaces. The recently re-opened Kulturpalast in Dresden with its new concert hall is one of these buildings, that invite people with architectural interests on the weekend of 24th and 25th June to take a look behind the constructional scenes.
On Saturday, 24th June, a lecture at 1.30 pm as well as two guided tours from 2 pm onwards will reveal the story behind the architecture of the Kulturpalast. The tours will be guided by gmp architects and take place in two groups, each with 30 participants maximum.
Accompanying the “Tag der Architektur”, an exhibition will be shown at the Zentrum für Baukultur Sachsen in the Kulturpalast.
