Throughout Germany the “22nd Tag der Architektur” takes place on 24th and 25th June. In Hamburg, too, historic as well as contemporary buildings can be explored. One of them is the new headquarter expansion for Gebr. Heinemann by gmp, which has been completed at the beginning of 2017. In three guided tours on 24th June, the architect in charge, Andreas Weihnacht, will explain the interaction of the structure with its surrounding in the HafenCity.

If on the weekend of 24th and 25th June 2017 various buildings open their doors for architectural interested people, a gmp-project will be amongst them as well: The new headquarter expansion for Gebr. Heinemann which was completed at the beginning of this year. Three guided tours with the architect in charge, Andreas Weihnacht, offer to take a look behind the facades of this project that, as part of an ensemble, harmonizes with its historic surrounding within the HafenCity. Furthermore, the new building has been designed to meet the requirements of the Gold standard of „Sustainable construction in HafenCity“.
The guided tours will each take place at 10.30 am, at 11.30 am and at 12.30 pm.
