Little is known yet about the plans for the Überseequartier Süd in the Hamburg HafenCity. An information event and panel discussion on 17 July at 7 pm explains the developments of the large-scale project: On the podium, gmp founding partner Volkwin Marg will be discussing with the representatives of different disciplines in the context of HafenCity.

While in the northern part of the Überseequartier in the HafenCity Hamburg the last vacant lots are closing, the developments in the southern area are moving forward. A mixed urban use is planned.
Details of these plans will be presented to public at an information event and panel discussion on 17 July at 7 pm. At the invitation of the Architects and Engineers Association of Hamburg (aiv) and the Patriotic Society of 1765, on the podium, in addition to the gmp founding partner and city planner Prof. Dr.-Ing. h. c. Volkwin Marg, will also speak Dr. Michael Hartung (Unibail Rodamco), Iris Neitmann (Initiative Lebenswerte HafenCity), Dieter Polkowski (Office for Regional Planning and Urban Development), Dirk Kienscherf Bürgerschaftsabgeordneter), Heinrich Grüter (Trägerverbund Projekt Innenstadt e.V.), Pastor Frank Engelbrecht (Hauptkirche St. Katharinen) about the development of the large-scale project. The event will be moderated by Minou Tikrani.
