Vietnam: Tradition meets Modernity

 

Nikolaus Goetze will illuminate contemporary architecture in Vietnam in the mirror of tradition and present on 24 January 2018. The lecture by gmp partner and manager of the offices Hamburg-Elbchaussee, Shanghai and Hanoi is part of a guest lecture for the Institute for Industrial Construction and Constructive Design of the Technical University Braunschweig, and will take place in the Architekturpavillon.

It is a journey through architectural typologies: exploring built gmp projects such as the National Congress Center (NCC) Hanoi, the Museum of Urban History or the office tower of the “Deutsches Haus”, which will host the General Consulate among other German institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, Nikolaus Goetze examines the development of contemporary architecture in Vietnam.

“Tradition meets Modernity” is the topic of the lecture by the gmp partner and manager of the offices Hamburg-Elbchaussee, Shanghai and Hanoi. It will take place on Wednesday, 24 January, from 1.30 to 3 pm in the Architekturpavillon of the Technical University Braunschweig.
