The Federal Chamber of German Architects (BAK) presents this year’s German contribution to the 9th International Architecture Biennial in São Paulo, Brazil. 20 projects were selected from over 140 submissions, including the Cape Town Stadium in South Africa.

The Federal Chamber of German Architects (BAK) presents this year’s German contribution to the 9th International Architecture Biennial in São Paulo, Brazil. 20 projects were selected from over 140 submissions, including the Cape Town Stadium in South Africa.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs (BMVBS), the Federal Chamber of German Architects (BAK) presents this year’s German contribution to the 9th International Architecture Biennial in São Paulo, Brazil. It will be opened on 2 November under the motto "Building culture made in Germany".

Over 140 architects’ and engineering practices took part in the selection process. One of the 20 selected projects is the Cape Town Stadium by architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp) together with Louis Karol architects, Cape Town and schlaich bergermann and partners, Stuttgart.
