At the 27th Giston Seminar, Nicolas Pomränke talks about "architecture as a stage of urban life - the meaning of public space."
Public urban space and architecture are closely interrelated, especially in cultural buildings. Their architecture reflects not only the history and morphology of each place, but also the culture in its entire complexity. These dependencies and expressions are illustrated by means of more recent examples from China and Germany.
