Three days dedicated to stadium design: The World Stadium Congress 2018, taking place from 7-9 May in Amsterdam, will gather experts in sport infrastructure, tournament delivery and recreational facilities from across the globe to debate the future of stadium and arena design and development.
On 8 and 9 May, Dipl.-Ing. Architect Markus Pfisterer, associate partner at gmp, will be speaking about international stadium projects by gmp.
On Tuesday, May 8 (at 12:20 pm), Markus Pfisterer will be participating in a panel discussion under the heading “MAKE SOME NOISE! Acoustic enhancement and containment through holistic design modelling“. Accompanying him on the panel are Tobias Winkelmann (Herzog and de Meuron) and Imad Kayyali (OBE Architects). The discussion will be moderated by Chris Dite (Arup).
On Wednesday, May 9 (at 3:15 pm), seven projects that provide the ultimate fan experience in terms of operational sustainability, visual perception and cultural diversity will be presented during the “WSC project showcase!“ session. This includes the stadium in Krasnodar (Russia) designed by gmp.
