It is obvious, that the North German Professional Association of the Metal Industry is well represented as a client with a metal cladded building. The aluminium post and beam construction with the applied stainless steel wave element was also selected for its envelope-like character, being suitable for the building type.
Five parallel building slabs are connected by a diagonally positioned thoroughfare. One of the intermediate zones is widened to function as a glazed entrance hall, towards which the single-corridor offices are orientated with open galleries.
Roof surface and hall are landscaped and planted. The hall acts as an irconditioning buffer, reducing the surface of the building shell, allowing for a large-scale, differentiated interior climate in large parts of the building.
