The town centre of Schenefeld is after the tradition of the large market halls and galleries of the 19th century. The service facilities available on three floors dictate the typical profile of the building through their terraced positioning. The spaciousness of the area offered makes casual shopping into an experience. Simplicity in material, detail and colour stresses the modesty of the architecture. Variety enough is created by the goods on sale and the "furnishings" of the occupiers.
