Courtyard houses

The typology of the courtyard house combines the desire for privacy and private outside spaces with useful density of urban scale. Grouped into an urban block structure inner courtyards create a maximum of privacy. Various units within one block move themselves towards a maximum of solar exposure. Tilted roofscapes take advantage of solar radiation, elevated outside spaces are incorporated into south facing facades.
